Our new performance glider has been named according to King Arthur's sword because of its sublime and majestic shape when crossing the sky.

Der Excalibur ist der Nachfolger unseres Hochleisters Radical. Durch konsequente Weiterentwicklung der Radical - Fläche mit Hilfe unserer einzigartigen FD-Konstruktions-Software konnten wir die Leistung des Radical noch einmal toppen. Und das beim gewohnt einfachen Extremflugverhalten, das auch schon den Radical so beliebt gemacht hat.

The Excalibur succeeds to the Radical. Our researches made on the Radical's surface with FD, our CAD software, enabled us to optimize further the performances of the Excalibur, without denying its exceptional flight behaviour in extreme situations, main asset which made the Radical so popular.

Das leichtgängige und definierte Handling ist Independence typisch und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Egal, ob flach drehend in der Thermik oder mit 58km/h max. auf Strecke, der Excalibur reizt das Mögliche aus!

The Excalibur's light and defined handling is typical to Independence and the tradition has been respected. You can turn flat inside the thermal or fly straight at a max. speed of 58km/h on trajectory: this glider is going to give you its maximum!

Großen Wert haben wir dabei auch auf die Acro - Tauglichkeit gelegt. Wer den Excalibur einmal dynamisch auf den Stabilo gestellt hat, um ihn dann weiter in den SAT zu ziehen, der weiß was wir damit meinen!
